At The Health Psychology Clinic, I am dedicated to enhancing the mental and physical well-being of individuals worldwide. As a trainee health psychologist with experience in the NHS, the private sector, and community services, I offer a range of services designed to improve your quality of life. From behavioural interventions to corporate seminars, my evidence-based approaches aim to support you on your journey to better health. I am a full member of the BPS (FMBPsS) and am in the process of obtaining my HCPC registration once I fully complete my doctorate.

What is Health Psychology?

Health psychology focuses on how psychological, behavioural, and cultural factors contribute to physical health and illness. It aims to understand how individuals cope with illness, promote healthy lifestyles, and improve healthcare systems. At The Health Psychology Clinic, I utilise health psychology principles to offer tailored interventions that address the unique needs of each client, helping them achieve a balanced lifestyle.

The Clinic Provides a Variety of Services

The clinic offers a range of psychological support targeting sleep problems, smoking cessation, pain management, dealing with physical health problems and chronic conditions such as diabetes management, diet and exercise, anxiety and depression management, and health anxiety. The clinic also offers psychoeducation across a range of physical and mental health conditions to both, groups and on a one to one level. The behavioural interventions offered by the clinic are grounded in the latest research, ensuring that you receive effective and compassionate clinical care.

Comprehensive Services

I use a person-centred approach based on the latest research evidence drawing on third-wave behavioural therapies, such as acceptance and commitment therapy or ACT (groups/ individuals) and at an organisational level, I offer acceptance and commitment training or ACT, drawing on psychoeducational techniques, all backed up by the latest research evidence.
I also offer reflective practice to groups in the healthcare services, especially nurses, HCAs, key workers, GPs and consultants.

What is Preventative Medicine?

Preventative medicine aims to prevent illness and promote health through preventative measures. At The Health Psychology Clinic, I integrate preventative medicine into my practice by offering educational seminars and workshops on healthy living. By addressing lifestyle factors and encouraging early intervention, I help individuals and organisations reduce the risk of health problems and enhance overall well-being.
